5 months off isn't an option
For First and Second Years, this marks the end of Semester 2 — and the beginning of an 18-week break (that’s 126 days or 3,024 hours) before you return in September. At the end of that wait lies progression to the next year of your degree.
But here’s the blunt truth:
If you spend that time doing nothing related to illustration — no drawing, no thinking, no looking, no learning — you will come back in September and spend the entire first semester just getting back to where you are now.
That’s half an academic year, wasted on a costly recap. Don’t let that happen.
In this final week we will discuss ways in which you can take advantage of the weeks and months ahead in order to return with both vim and vinegar (as people circa 1915 said).
