Nina Cosford

Nina Cosford is a freelance illustrator whose has worked on a wide range of projects, from over twenty published books to collaborations with top brands like Apple, HBO, Google, and Netflix. Her big break came through her award-winning work on HBO’s GIRLS.

With more than 325,000 followers on Instagram, Nina’s illustrations are celebrated for their playful, observational style. She’s passionate about travel and often captures her adventures in her sketchbooks, which have become a signature part of her creative process. Nina also shares her travels through her Instagram account Illustrated Adventures and her YouTube channel.

A lifelong sketchbook enthusiast, Nina designed her own in 2020 after years of searching for the perfect one, and she’s now an ambassador for Caran d’Ache pencils.

For years, comics enthusiasts have treasured The Acme Novelty Date Books Volumes 1 and 2 – rare glimpses into the extraordinary sketchbook work of Chris Ware, spanning 1986–1995 and 1995–2002.
Now, the long-awaited Volume 3 continues the legacy, covering an impressive two decades of work from 2002–2023. Some fans (naming no names, Dwayne) have suggested that such a huge timeframe could easily have filled two volumes – but hey, beggars can't be choosers.
